The team at Trinity Awana is was overjoyed to announce that registration for the 2022-2023 year is officially live as of July 2, 2022! This has been months in the making as the Awana Ministries Director as well as a number of volunteers stepped up to serve the Lord and the community by offering to help kick off the club's return to Weaverville.
In honor of registration day, the Awana Ministries Director, Kaila Arnold, attended Kid's Day at Lowden park yesterday to meet some children and parents of the community. The kid's faces lit up when they got a treat bag and got to see what handbooks they may be using this next year.
The club will makes it's debut on September 7th at 6:00pm when parents will have an opportunity to see where club will be held (stay tunes for details to come) and meet the volunteers who will be working with their children. Safety is their number one priority, as it should be, so all volunteers must go through a background check before working with children. The kids will get to go on an exciting scavenger hunt as they explore their new club meeting area and meet their leaders. The night will end with a delicious ice cream social for both kids and parents. What a great start to the year!

"But how do I get involved?"
Great question! The club can nor run without volunteers. They are literally the pillar of the entire club, so we are always happy to welcome those with an eager soul to serve the children of the community.
Volunteering can look like anything from running game time to leading a small group. If you are hesitant about fully committing to a volunteer position but would like to see the ins and outs of the club and help out occasionally we are always looking for standby volunteers who are on a list in case a leader calls out sick for an evening.
