About Awanas
Since 1941, Awana has been leading children to Christ while having fun at the same time! Awana is a non-denominational bible club for children ages 2 years - 18. However, here at Trinity Awana we will begin by offering the club to 3 year olds (& potty trained) to 12 years. Later, if we are blessed enough volunteers, we can offer it to the other age groups.

The club meets on Wednesday evenings, 6:00pm - 7:30pm, starting the first Wednesday after Labor Day to the end of May at Weaverville Elementary School. During Awanas your child can expect the following activities:
-
Large group time: Worship, stories, puppet show & announcements
-
Small group time: Handbook time, crafts & engagement activities
-
Game time: Fun & games!
-
Special events: Awana grand prix box car race, Awards night, Awana Christmas shop, Trip around the world & more!
-
Theme nights: Every week will have a theme assigned to it such as crazy hair night, Pajama night, etc. Kids may choose to participate or not.

2 Timothy 2:15

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (NIV)
